Obituary: Otis R. Capps

The Rev. Otis Ray Capps, 64, died Thursday. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Earl West, Bishop James Anders and the Rev. Clarence Moore at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Joyner Funeral Home, 4100 U.S. 264 West. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial gardens.
Capps was a retired minister of The Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Ramona Joye Capps; one son, Otis Ray Capps Jr. of Wilson; one sister Grace Blue of Rockingham; and three brothers, Henry Capps of Winston-Salem, David Capps of Wichita, KS, and Robert Capps of Amarillo, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 tonight.
